gecko eating alot lately!!!!

well this past few days 3-4 my lg has been eating alot i usually fed it 4-5 crickets and 5 mealworms daily and kept a bowl with ten mealies there and it didnt eat them all, but now its eating 6-7 crickets 5 mealies and i put a bowl of mealies b4 i go to bed and they are always gone, is this normal behaviour??? plus he is being alot more active and it tries to scape its tank should i be worried????

Spring is here(or atleast where i am). He may just be stretching out after the winter months and eating a bit more. I wouldnt say he sounds out of the norm.
