Hey there everyone! I recently built a rock hide/playground for my leopard gecko:
I've always wanted to do one of these, and when I saw some styro behind my local belair, I decided to go forth with it. I really didn't have to do much except for roughing up the edges to look more realistic, then just glued everything together with this powergrab stuff:
Then I made a watery/pancakey mixture of some polyblend non-sanded grout I had laying around from past tile work:
I only did 2 layers of gout because she doesn't destroy things, but you may have to do more. Then I just coated it in regular ol' Elmer's white school glue with a paint brush. Make sure you do a LITTLE at a time or else it will fill up the crevices in the grout and could come out not so clear. That's all there is to it! I thought it was going to be way harder than it turned out to be, and I saw her inside it the first night!
