LOL I just get so excited reading about peoples new sand worms...Possible names are like a dime a dozen with me as I have names for animals that I dont have yet and in reality never will. But who needs reality?!?!? Noodles is one that I was saving for an albino retic that was sold before I could...
I would go with the Sand Boa and Still do not regret it even after having the little cuss bite me repeatedly!!! I KNOW i deserved it and couldn't be happier with my little monster...If a sand boa is what you really want, ask those who have had, do have & will be getting more...IMO, the people...
OKay so......I cant remember when I got my little skuttlers but it took about a month or 2 to go through almost the ENTIRE 150!!!! Thats including supplementing with the other stupid feeders! My Leos are little PIGS! 5 good sized dubias per gecko daily adds up quite rapidly...At least WAY faster...
I just cant believe that so many people have had such rotten luck with roaches.....My leos and pictus love em and the "death-grip" never stands up against a hungry gecko IMO...Maybe your geckos just need to build strength. . .Sthength that comes by latching onto a nice plump dubia and savagely...
1 part Oats, 1 part High protien organic cat food, 1/2 part flax seed ground on medium in a coffee grinder...Water crystals for moisture with the crix (if I neeed them) and dubia but carrot, potato or lettuce for the mealies...
Being that you ARE on a Leo forum....what'd you expect?? My suggestion would be a Beardie.....But I do agree with Gregg that you should DEFINATELY go with something that YOU personally find interesting....Nothing like wasting your time and money, then finding out about it too late.
As far as the fish food goes, I feed it to my dubia and they seem to get long fine....As for the handling, try to cut back some and see if its just the stress????
