My giant day geckos are breeding and she just laid a single egg on 3/21/15 and I just got home 4/4/15 to find a really soft yellowish egg. Is that normal? Also I have a double egg with one egg cracked and starting to mold. I have already drilled holes in the side of the container before the mold started to prevent the mold. What do I do for that?

Since they need high humidity to incubate properly, it's likely that the mold was due to them not being fertile. In my opinion, about all you can do is to incubate and hope for the best. If you have an incubator, you could try taping a plastic tube to the side of the enclosure near the top and see if the gecko will lay in the tube. Then you can place the whole thing into the incubator which may give you a bit more control over the results.
