As near as I can tell, somebody in Spain thinks gorillas and chimps should have the same rights as humans. . .Why, I do not know. :main_huh:

Anthropomorphizing is one thing. . .but I think legal rights is a bit far. :rolleyes4:

PETA is behind it no doubt, or some other rather similar organization. PETA- people for the ethical treatment of animals. Now see, I love animals.....right next to my butter and BBQ sauce. Thats why I belong to PETA. PETA-people for the eating of tasty animals. i guess it works both ways. Apes are in no way shape or form nearly close to deserving the right humans do. Although its unfortunate there are a few humans that make me really question how far evolutions taken them from the apes.
