My coolest gecko

I don't have a favorite gecko.
But this one is definately my coolest gecko.
His name is Karl and he is blind. He turned blind on one eye in 2002 and on the other eye a year later. I did not believe then that he would survive a long time. But now he knows every corner in his terrarium and has no problem. He mostly eats babyfood but he eats the crickets i give him with the tweezers.

His crests are really special. They are so thin they nearly look like hairs.
Isn't he cute?

Oh, he is a cutie! So glad he has a good home. I have a special needs crestie myself, and she's a sweetheart. She refuses to eat any insects now though...but will totally pig out on clarks diet or fruit. That's awesome he'll still eat crickets from tweezers!

He is definitely a cutie! Thank you for sharing his pics and story. I used to have a crested gecko that I adored, but I had to give him to a friend because my apartment did not have air conditioning and was getting too warm during the day. Hopefully I can have one again someday.
