Not really an intentional field herping experience, but I thought I'd post here.

I was driving home today from my Mum's (took my younger brother to a movie) and almost hit this beautiful little guy/girl! She was sitting right on my side of the road! Well, I just had to slam on my breaks and pick her up. Chris wasn't amused when he came home to see my laying on the kitchen floor oggling my find...

Here's another shot of her...I did find it was a girl! If I catch her trying to eat those plastic plants, I'll have to remove them...But for now, it looks pretty.

Beautiful aren't they! She a healthy one too. I have a red foot tortoise and he'll try to eat anything pretty colored.:main_rolleyes: plastic bags, shoes etc.
