I'm thinking about using tile in my geckos tank.
What sort of tile can I use?
Does it keep the heat well, I'm using a heatmat.
Can I see some pictures too.

1. Pretty much anything in the Tile section of Lowes or Home Depot. I wouldn't use the vinyl though, it doesn't give them any grip.
2. Keeps heat very well.
3. What kind of pictures?

Thanks for the reply.
I live in the UK so don't have either of those shops.
Do I use ceramic wall tiles or floor tiles?
I wanted some pictures of setups using tiles.

i use natural slate... holds heat well (i also have a uth), easy to clean...only pita is cutting it to fit and sometimes it breaks or chips on the corners and sides. the only reason i would stay away from ceramic is because they are generaly smooth and wouldnt provide much traction...:D

You can use natural stone tile as well. I personally use ceramic tile that has a textured surface. Only reason being that it is cheaper than stone.
