VOIP, it stands for voice over internet protocol. Now for all the none tech nerds out there, basically its a program that using a thing called a codec, takes the sound waves from your voice, via a microphone (yes, you need a microphone to use it) and converts them into code and transmits it back out the same way it went in. Its your voice, not a computer voice converting text. Now, the chats are fun, but alot of the time i get confused when ppl are serious or joking, and i know the same thing happens coming from me. Voice makes some of these headaches go away and i was wondering if a VOIP client is a possibility. Some of the private ones are Skype and Ventrilo. Skype can support up to 4 people at once. http://www.skype.com and http://www.ventrilo.com

I've used ventrilo alot. IMO it blows skype away. Thats actually a pretty cool idea. I like it!! Why didn't I ever think of that.....LOL.
Have a gecko forums.net ventrilo server. Brilliant!!
You can even set up different channels for different discusions. Certain channels can even be password protected. Not to mention it will save folks from the dreaded "LONG DISTANCE CALLS"
Ventrilo is usually clearer than talking on a phone too, providing the right codecs are used.
That my man is one rad idea. :)
