yes, amel is the most widely used term to describe albino fat tails

thats what I thought, it just depends on the breeder I guess what term they are using, so it confused noobies like me

albino means lacking pigment. amelanistic means lacking the pigment melanin.

in humans albino and amelanistic are interchangable because humans only have the pigments melanin.

but there are no true albino fat tails yet, most lizards have more pigments than melanin.
