Gecko lighting question!

Hello. I have my leopard gecko in a 3ft vivarium. I have a light fixture to put in this week but I don't know what bulb to use, more specifically I need help with the Wattage.

I have a heat mat in my vivarium which provides all the heat my gecko needs so I want a bulb with a low enough Watt rating as to not heat the vivarium further, but not so low as to not provide enough light...

my light fitting takes ES bulbs if that helps at all..

If your gecko is in a room where there's ambient light, so the gecko can tell the difference bewteen day and night, there's really no need for a light at all. If you want one anyway, use a low wattage so it doesn't add heat, as you suggest.
