I wouldnt get to many, just incase your leo wont eat them. I would get like a tub of 50 mealies, petco and other pets stores sell them. If your leo likes them then you can get more, wouldnt want to buy 500+ and have your leo not want them.

You can keep a good amount in an escape-free dish inside the tank at all times. Use a small amount of gutload/calcium in the dish. If your leo doesn't eat them right away, don't give up. Mine took a month to eat them and now eats about 15/day and a lot less crickets.
