It has been reported that there have been some problems in the chat room lately, so I would like to remind everyone that the rules and TOS of GeckoForums.net apply not only on the discussion forums, but in chat and PM's as well. If you have not yet taken the time to read the TOS of this website, now would be a great time to do that.
Some of you may not be aware of it, but there doesn't have to be a MOD or ADMIN in the chat room for us to know what goes on in there. We have access to the chat log text, and can go back and read every single word typed at any time. We rarely do that, unless inappropriate activity is reported. Believe it or not, we have much better things to do with our time than to scour over chat logs trying to bust somebody for dropping the "F" bomb. We really do not enjoy being babysitters.
There are some things that will guarantee you will be shown the exit door from GeckoForums.net. Illegal activity, threats, sexual harassment, gay bashing, and racist or other prejudicial remarks will not be tolerated.
GeckoForums.net has provided the chat room(s) for everyone to enjoy hanging out and interacting with other members, and we all like to have fun, joke around, and get a little rowdy with each other in chat sometimes! But, if you are in the chat room and experience the inappropriate behavior described above, please notify one of the MOD SQUAD immediately. (This doesn't mean you have to tattle on everyone or send us a bunch of "whine-o-grams" for petty stuff, LOL!)
